1. An independent information website

Civil ID Status is not the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Government of Kuwait or any government body. We cannot check, issue, renew, change or process any Civil ID. Official decisions, card statuses, fees, fines and deadlines come only from PACI and other official government services.

2. Information only, not official or legal advice

Our guides are written for general information. We work to keep them accurate and up to date, but official procedures, app menus, fees, fines and working hours can change without notice. Always confirm important details with the official source before you pay, travel or take action. Nothing on this website is legal, immigration or official government advice.

3. The Civil ID checker

  • The checker only tests whether a number has a valid Civil ID format and reads the birth date encoded in it.
  • A “valid” result does not mean that a card is ready, valid, active or approved.
  • The checker runs in your browser and does not send your number to us or to PACI.
  • It is provided free of charge and “as is”, without any guarantee of accuracy or availability.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this website to break any law, to look up or misuse another person’s Civil ID information without their permission, to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the website, or to copy our content for republishing without permission.

5. Intellectual property

The text, design, graphics and the checker tool on this website belong to Civil ID Status unless stated otherwise. You may share links to our pages and quote short extracts with a link back to the original page. Screenshots of official websites are used only to explain how those services work; the names and services of PACI, Kuwait Government Online, Sahel and Kuwait Mobile ID belong to their respective owners.

We link to official and third-party websites, apps and videos for your convenience. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy or privacy practices.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Civil ID Status is not liable for any loss or damage, including missed deadlines, fines, fees or travel problems, arising from your use of this website, the checker, or reliance on any information published here.
