No official connection
Civil ID Status is an independent information website. Names such as PACI, Public Authority for Civil Information, Kuwait Government Online, Sahel, Meta and Kuwait Mobile ID (Hawyti) are used only to describe official services. They belong to their respective owners, and their use on this website does not mean any partnership or endorsement.
We cannot show or change your Civil ID status
We do not have access to PACI’s systems or to any personal Civil ID records. We cannot check, approve, issue, renew, cancel, deliver or speed up a Civil ID. Your real card status is only shown on official services such as services.paci.gov.kw, e.gov.kw, the Sahel app, or by calling PACI on 1889988.
Accuracy of information
We prepare our guides carefully from official sources and update them when we notice changes. However, government procedures, fees, fines, deadlines, app menus and working hours can change at any time without notice. We make no guarantee that every detail is complete, current or correct. Always confirm important information with PACI or the relevant official service before you pay, travel or act.
The Civil ID checker
Our checker only tests the format of a Civil ID number and reads the birth date encoded in it. A valid result does not confirm that a card exists, is ready, is valid or is active. The tool is provided free and “as is” for convenience only.
Screenshots and videos
Screenshots show official pages as they appeared when we wrote the guide, and embedded videos are created by third parties. Official websites and apps may look different today. Videos are the responsibility of their creators and are included only to help explain the process.
